Applied for a couple of positions...

I applied for Vocational Counselor I at the Humboldt County website. A friend who works in the social services department sent me an email for the position and told me it was open and the deadline for filing the application is January 17. I filled out the application online but had a minor issue with the browser freezing at the end of the process so I wasnt sure if the resume and cover letter made it with the application so I went to the County Courthouse room 100 (human resources) and verified the application made it and hand delivered a hard copy of my resume and cover letter. this was 12/23/2013

Also, today, I applied for a Network Administrator at a local casino called Blue Lake Casino and Hotel. Printed out the application, filled it using Foxit reader, printed out my IT certificates, list of refferences, my 4 letters of recommendation, and then went and hand delivered it to the HR department at the Blue Lake casino and Hotel. on 12/23/2013.

So that brings the stats for December to:

Applied for county job opening

I applied for a job opening for county, Vocational Counselor I. Filled out the application online, and just as I was finishing up the last part of the application, my browser froze. I was not able to send resume and cover letter, or confirm that. I was forced to shut my browser down and restart it. Once I was able to recover from the browser freeze, I went back to the county website and it said I completed the application. There was no way to confirm if I had sent the resume and cover letter. I was very angry. I had no way of knowing what did or did not get sent.
